HOLLY BOHN, FOUNDER,
SEE JANE WORK
WHAT WE LOVE
Holly Bohn’s See Jane
Work Web site shows
that a home office can
look as good as other
rooms in your house.
BACKGROUND
As a suburban working
mother of two, Holly
says she wasn’t able to
scour flea markets for
cute cups and trays for
her workspace. Her
frustration blossomed
into an online business
selling pretty and
practical office products.
(The first retail store,
left,
opened in California last
year.) Holly and business
partner Kelly Osborne
scout office supplies the
way they shop for clothes.
«We’re constantly reading
magazines and observing
what people collect to
determine new products
in our line,” Holly says.
OUR FAVORITE FINDS
Paper mouse pads
disguised as daily
planners and sea-glass
blue pencil cups.
WORDS OF W ISDOM
Accept that you are
either a filer orapiler,
Holly says. For filers,
folders are the way to go.
For pilers, stackable letter
trays work wonders, she
says. “Color-coordinated
desk accessories also
keep things looking tidy.”

Not a filer? Holly suggests collecting items in clear
plastic envelopes to keep them organized yet visible on
a desk or shelves. Label by subject or project. “It’s my
version of contained chaos,” she says.
